Our Top 10 NGOs Working for Education & Literacy

1. Amarpushp:

Amarpushp Educational & Welfare Society (AEWS) is a non-profit organization registered under the Societies' Registration Act of 1860. AEWS was set up in May 2011 and since then have been raising resources for girls, rural children education, women empowerment, food and clothes for people and other social issues. Amarpushp is founded by Mrs. Gitanjali Kushwaha (Founder) and Mr. Ashish Kushwaha (Co-Founder), Mr. Amar Nath is Vice President and Mrs. Pushpa is Mentor of the organization. 2. Helping Hand Foundation

Founded in 2011, the Helping Hand Foundation is the culmination of the passion of seven like-minded people to do good for society. The key founders of the NGO are Dr. John Sircar and Dr. Pramodkumar Sircar. The other members are Dr. Sandhya Dalsingh, Mr. Tejas Wadekar, Dr. Sanjeevani R. Dabre, Dr. Fatema Kapadia, and Dr. Imran Shaikh. They have formed the Helping Hand Foundation to alleviate poverty by helping the marginalized people of society.

3. Jeet foundation

Jeet foundation Self Help Group Society (NGO) Regd. works on a vision of helping poor people by making them self-independent. Since 2012 they are working for this social cause. Thier aim is to educate downtrodden people so that they can come forward and stand up their own. From last 8 years more than 2500 girls got training from their centers, where these girls are taking short term courses like cooking, makeup, computer, and knitting. Many students are now making their livelihood by doing jobs and some of them have started their own business. Jeet Foundation is also running school for slum area in Ambedkar Nagar, Ludhiana from 2013.

4. Global Thought Foundation

Global Thought Foundation believes in empowering by guiding. Our goal is to establish healthier, educated, empowered and greener communities. For this, we work to improve accessibility and equality in our four Focus Sectors: Education, Women Empowerment, Healthcare, and Environment.They create and make available opportunities and services in our focus sectors with the aim of bringing welfare and development into the lives of the rural and urban poor who are socially marginalized and economically poor.

5. Visamo Kids Foundation

Visamo Kids Foundation (VKF), an Ahmedabad based NGO, works towards providing free education to poor children coming from underprivileged(under poverty line) families from all over Gujarat.

Visamo, a truly sustainable, fresh, vital and dynamic initiative, started off with 18 underprivileged children from the poorest of the poor families from earth quake affected regions of Gujarat. Since its initiation in 2002, soon after the massive earthquake that shook the whole of Gujarat, VKF has focused on working towards empowering lives by facilitating access to quality education and secured environment to the underprivileged children of Gujarat.

6. Apeksh Welfare Foundation

Apeksh Welfare Foundation a voluntary non-profit organization, has been a beacon of hope since its inception under the Section 8 on July 28th, 2021. Dedicated to uplifting the socio-economic conditions of the marginalized, deprived, and downtrodden, our relentless efforts focus on instilling self-confidence and self-esteem within these vulnerable sections of society.

Our mission has been clear from the start&mdash to challenge social injustices and disparities prevalent among the marginalized. Through the dedication of our team comprising passionate social workers, activists, and volunteers, we've made significant strides, prioritizing the fundamental rights of the underprivileged, including landless laborers, marginalized farmers, unemployed individuals, street children, migrant populations, destitute women, and the elderly.

7. Bridges Educational Foundation

Founded in 16 August 2020 by Akash, Raghav, and their team, Udaar Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities in India.

Through initiatives like seminars on feminine health, women empowerment, sports, and entrepreneurship, the foundation strives to eradicate poverty and empower youth.

Their efforts highlight a commitment to grassroots development and fostering a brighter future for all.

BharatMata Mahagaswargiya Mahila Gyanpith is passionately dedicated to the field of education, with our primary goal being to provide quality education to students. We are committed to delivering excellent educational opportunities to underprivileged children by supplying essential educational materials and ensuring the availability of skilled and compassionate teachers. Our mission is to guarantee that every child has equal access to education, empowering them to build a bright and successful future.

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society, Faridabad, popularly known as Sai Dham, is working for the upliftment of the underprivileged section of the society since its inception in 1988. The NGO is more continuously working on the overall upliftment of the poor, underprivileged and tribal people through their services and material support. Moral and ethical development of the society at large is what they have dreamt of.
