Ishwar Charitable Trust
Founded in 1982 by Dr. Sushil Choudhry, Ishwar Charitable Trust was established with the vision of providing quality eye care to all sections of society, particularly the rural and underserved. Guided by Dr. Choudhry' s dedication and compassion, the Trust has worked tirelessly to restore sight and transform countless lives through accessible and affordable ophthalmic services.
In 1993, the Trust founded ICARE Eye Hospital & Post Graduate Institute, which has been serving the urban and rural underprivileged communities of the NCR for over three decades. Since its inception, ICARE has screened over 5.2 million individuals and restored the sight of more than 445,000 people, with 68 of surgeries benefiting underserved populations&mdash a testament to its enduring commitment to eliminating avoidable blindness.
