About the NGO

PEOPLE(R) has been since 2006, working towards uplifting rural and marginalised communities in Bellary & Davanagere districts.Our vision is to empower rural children from vulnerable communities through inclusive education, and overall development. Our mission is to get every child into school and reduce the current high rate of School Drop-outs. Towards this objective, we would like to prevent and ultimately eradicate instances of Child Labour, Child Marriage and Child Trafficking. Post Covid, higher incidence of Child Labour and Child Marriages is witnessed and our People(R) is doubling its efforts by working hand in hand with various Government departments and the Gram Panchayats to prevent it.
