ABOUT DONATION DRIVE
In many parts of our nation, scarcity of purified drinking water is a major issue. Impure drinking water can often lead to many preventable diseases like
● Diarrhea
● Nausea
● Intestinal or stomach cramping
● Intestinal or stomach aches
● Dehydration
RO water is a privilege that is not accessible to the underserved sections of society. It can be a very expensive process to get the necessary equipment and has the additional cost of electricity to get the RO system to function as well as requires a large space in which to get it installed. Even those who do have access to RO services have come to understand the demerits of using the facility. A lot of water is wasted during the purification process in ROs, and we lose many minerals as well during the filtration. Our goal is to ensure that fewer and fewer cases of ailments due to impure drinking water arise in our nation.
Keeping that in mind, i2u social foundation has embarked on a mission with our partner NGO Tare Zameen Foundation, to do its bit to make purified drinking water accessible to underserved sections of society.
